Want to Hear More?

I am so very sorry that I haven't updated my Love Dare blog. It's been so hectic this year with our family and some things have had to fall by the wayside. I completed the Love Dare some time ago and I will try to get the last 5 days posted soon. Have you enjoyed reading about my journey? Has it been encouraging, insightful, truthful and open? I hope so. I really poured my heart and soul into the blog in hopes of reassuring those that might be struggling. I would love to hear from some of you that have read my blog. Would you like to hear more? What would you like to hear? I'm not a marriage counselor by any means, but just a Christian woman who wants to love and honor my marriage as a tribute to God.

  2. Hey Stephanie! I have just started The Love Dare. I just stared searching the internet for information about it (nothing in particular) and found your blog. I'm on Day 4 and have read your days as I go along. Today I got a little nosey and wanted to know more about you. Interestly, I am about your age (28) and also living in Tennessee. Small world! I decided to do The Love Dare some time ago and got sidetracked. My sister-in-law (my husband's brother's wife) got me the book on cd so I can listen to it in my car on my way to work. This has seemed to work better because you know how busy life is. Anyway...I'm not sure why I am telling you this but I had an affair that ended a year ago. Since then I have been FIGHTING for my husband. Everything is going GREAT! I have also found my faith again. I'm in a really good place and I know it will take time to get my husband there even though he is doing remarkably well. I guess I'm telling you all this to ask for you to pray for us. I see that you are a Christian woman and for some reason I think I found your blog on purpose. Please pray for us! And thank you so very much for creating this blog!

  3. Lindsey, I would love to have your email address/phone number because I would love to chat with you. My email address is stephaniebyerly@yahoo.com. Please email me your information. You'll find that later in the book, you need a mentor/accountability person. I would love to help you with that!!!

  4. Stephanie,
I just wanted to tell you that I have not only enjoyed your blogs, but have used them as a sort of "partner" to my own dare.
You see, about 6 months ago,I had an affair. My husband found out about it, and we have been riding the waves of my bad choices. I started the dare hoping and expecting to figure out where I had gone wrong and how I could help Daniel through the rough times ahead. I didn't fully expect to go through a complete overhaul in my love for him. We are now on a road to recovery and he has expressed to me that he adores the "new me."
Your blogs have been both encouraging and a source of comfort. I found it very comforting to know that someone out there is not afraid to express those feelings and views about marriage so openly, and so honestly, when the rest of the world seems so selfishly negative about the outlook of the general idea of marriage.
For that, I thank you. I am not finished with the dare, and who ever says we need to be, right? But God has moved in our marriage and lives so much, I wanted to share with you that in a different kind of way...you were part of that.
Many blessings to you, and your family!~
    Diane
